At the Ministry of Energy & Transport’s Energy Summit in November, one of the most powerful moments happened in the Youth Zone.
FOCOL was proud to sponsor the Energy Pitch Competition, where students from schools across New Providence presented bold solutions to real energy challenges facing our country. Their ideas were thoughtful, creative, and rooted in national progress.
Our Group HR Manager, Esaura Cumberbatch, served as a judge, offering guidance and mentorship as students confidently defended their proposals. We also celebrated the winning team and recognized every participant who showed up prepared, engaged, and ready to lead.
This is what fueling growth for people looks like investing early, listening closely, and creating pathways for young Bahamians to help build, operate, and lead the future of energy.
