Sun Oil Limited

Sun Oil Limited, a subsidiary of FOCOL Holdings, was originally founded as a petroleum distributor, and has evolved into one of the leading suppliers of fuel in The Bahamas. It provides gasoline, diesel, marine fuel, and aviation fuel across the country, serving both commercial and residential customers

Freeport Oil Company

Freeport Oil Company Limited traces its origins to 1967, when it was established by the Grand Bahama Port Authority to serve as a reliable supplier of petroleum products to the growing industrial and commercial community of Freeport, Grand Bahama. Over the years, Freeport Oil has become an essential part of the local energy landscape, supporting transportation, industry, and daily life with a dependable supply of quality fuels and services. Built on a foundation of operational excellence and community commitment, the company has long been recognized for its reliability, integrity, and contribution to economic development on the island.

Bahamas Utilities Company Ltd.

BUC provides services that support utilities, power generation, and essential infrastructure required to keep communities and industries operating reliably. Its activities contribute to energy security and operational stability across power and utility-related systems in New Providence.

Through technical expertise, operational support, and a focus on reliability, BUC plays an important role in strengthening energy resilience.

New Providence Gas Ltd. (NPG)

New Providence Gas Ltd. (NPG) is helping power a cleaner and more sustainable future for The Bahamas through the introduction of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). As operator of the LNG regasification terminal at Clifton Pier, NPG plays a critical role in the country’s transition from heavy fuel oil and diesel to a cleaner, more efficient energy source.

As part of the Government-approved LNG-to-Power initiative, LNG will be converted into natural gas for electricity generation, supporting a more reliable, resilient, and lower-carbon energy system. By enabling the use of this globally proven fuel, New Providence Gas Ltd. contributes to improved energy security, enhanced environmental performance, and long-term benefits for Bahamian residents and businesses.

Bahamas Solar & Renewables

Bahamas Solar and Renewables Company Ltd. (BSR) is a full-service renewable energy company dedicated to powering the future of The Bahamas with clean, resilient energy solutions. BSR develops and delivers renewable energy projects across utility-scale, commercial and industrial, micro-grid, and distributed energy markets, supporting clients through every stage of the project lifecycle, from development and construction to long-term operation and maintenance.

Convenience Retailing Limited

O.R. Services Limited (“ORSL”) was established in 2007 to manage and operate the retail arm of FOCOL Holdings Limited (“the Parent”), overseeing a network of fuel service stations across New Providence and supporting the Parent’s commitment to safe, reliable energy distribution.

On October 1, 2021, Convenience Retailing Limited (“CRL”) was incorporated following the Parent’s approval of the consolidation of two wholly owned subsidiaries, ORSL and Sun Services Limited (“SSL”).

Grand Sun Investments Ltd

Sun Oil Limited is a leading energy and fuel distribution company within the FOCOL Group, serving as the primary vehicle for the Group’s retail and bulk petroleum operations across The Bahamas and the Turks & Caicos Islands. Established following FOCOL’s strategic acquisition of Shell Bahamas Limited in 2006, Sun Oil brought together trusted global fuel brands with a locally anchored distribution and retail network. As the Shell licensee, the company offers Shell Quality Fuels and Lubricants, delivering industry-recognized performance, reliability, and protection across automotive, commercial, and industrial applications.
